1. I really enjoyed reading about the Decision Making Process, and how we naturally use the 5 step process. However, the reality check (When Uncle Sam Calls) hits hard for me. I am in a military family, and I remember the fear when my dad was deployed. I remember him being gone most of my childhood serving for the military or his military job. A lot of time he took on extra deployments or jobs trips overseas. This would help our family out financially since he was paid more while serving. I am happy that he made it through those times, and he is now retired from the Navy. The resources are real in the Uncle Sam Calls.

2. How many people are unware of the arranged marriage along with the dowry system that comes with it? I learned about this last year when a ministry came to my church. She is from the United States, but now lives in India to share the love of Jesus. Her ministry is building burn unit faculties. She told us how awful it is and shared stores of the burn unit along with the dowry system. It is an eye opener.

3. I want to learn more about the foundation of family resource management. There are different ways of financial resources, and it would be nice to know all of them. At least several of them so that I can find the best one for my family.

After starting "Life After College," I really feel like this class will be extremely helpful to my future. With a nursing major, I feel like you go into it thinking oh well I'm gonna be a nurse there's only so much I can do with that, but I've already had struggles with knowing exactly what I want to do. I think it's scary to think about doing one thing for the rest of my life, but I feel like this class and this book will show me there's so much more out there I can do.
2. Covid has effected the family dynamic in so many ways. Has it effected the family dynamic of families who have underlying health issues more than families who do not? I feel like underlying health issues could potentially impact families more in ways such as: financial struggles, not being able to see family members, etc.
3. After beginning "Life After College" and looking at the different chapter topics, I'm excited to look more into the chapters that I specifically need more help with like money, organization, and personal growth.

I undoubtedly believe the decision making process is essential. I am interested in learning about the difference in outcomes between just making mindless decisions and actually thinking them through.

3. I can also appreciate assigning a book that will help beyond this course. It’s nice to actually purchase a book that I am genuinely excited to learn from! I’d like to know more about how it will help me in this course and in the future.

I am interested in learning more about the different theories and how they come into play in relationships.

1. I really appreciate you taking the time to make the lecture videos and notes to fill out while listening to them. For someone that doesn't really like doing online classes, I really have enjoyed this class so far and I think I'm going to learn new skills that are going to be beneficial for my future.
2. With Covid being a topic, I can't help but wander will life ever go back to normal? Will we always have to wear a mask from now on? I already hate the fact that wearing a mask creates such a social border when it comes to interacting with others and not being able to see older family or friends as much due to their chance of high risk exposure to Covid. Also, how does the pandemic effect the future economy, employment, and the experiences next generations will have?
3. Once I started "Life After College", I really anticipating learning about the next couple of topics that I know are going to be essential in having a successful future. Also, I think some of the topics will give me new perspectives on how I currently live my life and what improvements I can make!

1.) I really appreciate how you have set up your online classroom. The videos, power points, and extra resources really make a difference for myself at least. I found the, "When Uncle Same Calls," article very interesting. Members of my family have had to deal with all of those same struggles. Reading that article gave me some perspective that I didn't have before.
2.) I would like to know just what the military is doing for families that are going through this these days. The article mentioned they were invested in helping, but did not specify exactly how.
3.) I would like to know more about how I can better prepare myself for life after college, and utilize the tools I'll learn in this course.
