1) Nationalism does not require just unity. It requires sameness?
2) Identifying who are the aliens/foreigners and who are with the establishment?
3) Standing for national anthem

He argued that the borders in maps define how nations share a homogeneous identity and therefore nationalism is defined by ‘sameness’ . Partha Chatterjee opposes this idea in his essay “ whose imagined community “ to describe how cultural differences and diversities form the basis of nationalism. We do not have to be the same to highlight our understanding of nationalism. He argues that the definition of nationalism derived from maps is flawed since it ignores cultural differences and diversities. Nationalism is not about homogeneity , it transcends borders and is about being united even through differences. I agree with Partha Chatterjee’s views on nationalism.
