10/24
The first chapter was about a girl named Matilda who loved reading and studying but her parents didn't let her do it and thought that she could watch TV and learn it from there as they were rich.
The second chapter was about,Matilda went to the library and met Mrs.Phelps, she asked for kid books. She took many books and returned them on that day.Her parents used t leave her alone in their house so she was doing it secretly.Matilda finished all the kid books including the books with only words, she tried adult books and mostly loved the books by Charles Dickens. One day,Mrs.Phelps asked that who do you come with and she answered that she comes alone and it's just a ten minute walk but Mrs.Phelps told her that she shall go with an adult. She was also confused because a 4 year old girl wants to read adult books. In chapter three her brother used to go to school but she couldn't because she was 4 so she learned it through books. She knew Algebra, the table of 1 to 100.
The spellings that nobody in her age could tell. One day,Mrs Phelps told her that she could take books home for 2 weeks and she was so surprised. In chapter four, she is reading a book while the father is watching TV,she tries to ignore it and just then, her father tears it.She says that it is not her's ,she borrowed it from the library but her father says that she will have to buy a book from her pocket money and give it to the librarian. In chapter five,Matilda glues her father's hat in order to get revenge for him tearing his book so next ,the father picks the hat and wears it.He goes to work and after an hour or two ,he comes home,he tries to remove his hat but can't and he also comes to know that his hat was glued but he couldn't do anything because if he tried to take that hat off then he would get the top of his head sliced off.So ,he didn't but he was uncomfortable so he couldn't sleep. In chapter six,Matilda is getting troubled by her parents again ,so she brings a parrot that could say hello and rattle my bones from a friend named Fred. Her plan is to hide it somewhere and when it says hello,it is gonna feel like a ghost because there is nobody else in their house so it is sure for it being a ghost. The plan worked and the family was scared.

The twits

11/1
It talks about people who have hair all over their face. They talk how they are and how difficult it is for them to do things like eating because that may be stuck to their hair and it may be very hard to wash their hair because they have hair all over their face and we don't.It then talks about the man named Mr.Twit who is really a twit and is one of the hair on face kind and he doesn't take a bath,he eats food from a plate only once in a month because he eats the food stuck in his hair in the rest of the month. Then they talk about him being so nasty and then they tell about his wife (Mrs.Twit) who is extremely ugly which she wasn't before and she turned herself ugly because of eating and troubling. They both are extremely bad twits and they keep on tricking each other like Mr.Twit put a frog in Mrs.Twits bed and then she put worms in his spaghetti and he ate it.The real story of them starts here. They loved something called bird pie which sounds funny but do you know how they make it?They know that birds sit on their tree so Mr.Twit puts a kind of glue that can't be removed so when the birds come, they sit on it and then can't come out. Then Mr.Twit comes and cuts the glue and then takes the birds home. There are some monkeys in a cage and the biggest is Mr.Mugglewump and then Mrs.Mugglewump, daughter, and son.The Twits were actually in a circus and then they got retired. They wanted to make their own upside down circus and used to make the monkeys practice and if they wouldn't do it,they would get hit by a stick. They were africans so they could not warn the birds because the birds were english. One day, four boys came and sat on the tree, they got stuck instead of the birds and the birds did not come because they were scared of the boys, the next day Mr.Twit came and saw the boys,so he said that he will eat boy pie instead ,the boys were scared so they removed their pants and ran because their pants were stuck to the tree, not them. Then atlast one day, there was a bird that came who's name was the Rolly Polly bird who was african and also learned english so the monkeys warned the bird and the bird warned the other birds so the next day they sat on the cage and when Mr.Twit came the next day,the birds laughed and he was angry and went away, then the next tuesday,he put the glue on the cage and tried to go forward so instead of only cage,he also put it on the roof. The next day,the birds were flying and then Mr.Twit thought that it is enough so he went to buy guns with Mrs.Twit and told the monkeys to stay upside down until they come back. The birds then found the keys to open the cage and to enter the house of the twits.
Mr.Mugglewump had an idea,he told every bird to take a bucket of glue and a brush, they went in and put everything on the ceiling including the carpet and furniture. When they were done, the twits were almost ocming back, the birds starting flying and the monkeys went in the cage. When the twits went to their home they saw everything upside down and that is when the ravens put glue on their heads and when the twits saw that they were upside down, they thought of going back in the right way so they stood on their heads. They then came to know that it was a trick and then Mrs.Twit said that I knew I shouldn't have stayed upside down because you are a twit.So are you said Mrs twit.I highly reccomend this book and read the ending which will make you laugh alot.
