Kids do a really good job of naming their feelings this year. We will continue to work on what strategies we can use to move to the green zone.

  • I noticed some of my students who struggled in the beginning to meet the standard are starting to grow in many areas with the help of adult supports and modeling from other peers.

  • I was surprised to see how I scored some of the students in September, as now in October, I know the student better and understand who they are and felt more confident in how they are meeting the standard day to day.

Most students who are lower on the scale in one area are lower on the scale in multiple areas.

Some students got involved in one bigger situation and that made them go from a 3 to a 1. Some students might be wearing a mask of compliance but certain situations expose their true skill.
