Last night was the opening of the NFL season with the Eagles playing the Cowboys, a huge division rivalry. Even though I could only stay awake long enough to watch the first half to the game, the Eagles looked good - especially Jaden Hurts. That guy is so athletic! I am glad I went to bed at halftime, because after halftime, there was a lightning delay, and the Eagles ended up winning anyway. GO BIRDS!

I am so excited to be done with standardized testing tomorrow. After taking the ACT tomorrow, I'm going to be done! I am so happy that all of the stress and preparation will pay off and I no longer have to worry about it!

My car passed inspection! My parents thought that it would be very unlikely that it would pass the next inspection (this August) or even survive till then. However, it is still running smoothly (mostly) and passed inspection this past time. So, we don't have to buy another car this year and it was a great win for my family as a whole. This car has been in my family for the past 10ish years and is a 2013, so it is impressive that it still going. It is getting close to 250,000 miles as well so it has had a great long life. I'm just hoping it continues to hold out at least until I move to college.

The girls cross country team won their first two meets against Shippensburg and Greencastle-Antrim. Chloe and I took first and second in 20:46. We won the race by 2 minutes. Our time was not at full effort and still was only 10 seconds off of our 5k xc PR. So we are both excited about running a big PR tomorrow at LVC.

This morning I received my SAT score. I improved my score and got a good enough number to (hopefully) (definitely) get into Georgetown. Its not as high as I would want (it never will be), but I am still proud of my hard work and good result.

It is now September and fall is almost here! Cold weather is coming soon, as well as festive drinks. Starbucks and Dunkin released their fall menus recently, and we can always look forward to the winter drinks, too! Outfits can now consist of hoodies and sweatpants:)

The senior breakfast was a success, even though we had one less grill than we planned on. There was a great attendance and we had all of the cutlery and food (although a little slow at the start) that we needed to fit the occasion. We now have wisdom that we can use for the advisors to run the senior breakfast even better in future years.

I got an A in my college history class from Dickinson! I also get a recommendation letter from the professor who is literally the Abe Lincoln guy ever and as a possible history major this is great.
