I think that ww2, a war that started in 1939, is a really tragic event. Among all the bad incidents that happened in the past, ww2 is definitely one of the most eye-watering one. With millions of deaths and refugees, I cannot even imagine what life was like back in those days, hearing explosions of bombs every single day. I’m deeply sorry for the people that lost their families and friends during the war, and people that weren’t fed enough.

There are many factors as to why World War Two began, but here are some I know of. Due to the Wall Street Clash and economic recession in US, Great Britain and France adopted the appeasement policy which allowed for Germany’s totalitarian state and Japan’s militarism ideologies to spread. Influenced by extreme nationalism after the Treaty of Versailles, Hitler Adolf’s belief in the superiority of Aryans and Anti-Semitism led to many tragic deaths during the Holocaust. In the end, US dropped two atomic bombs in Japan, thus the war ended without any beneficiaries on June 15.

World War Two was a destructive war that led to many deaths and injuries which some countries are still suffering from it. Two atomic bombs were dropped in Japan. A total of 119000 people were killed, 25000 more were injured, thousands died later from radiation sickness and obviously the whole city was in debris. Till now, where the bomb had been dropped, crops cannot be grown there and babies born in the affected area might get rare diseases. Although yes Japan immediately surrendered to America after the two bombs, but was America winning the war worth the lives of those innocent souls?

Millions of lives were lost, and it showed how far people would go for power, but it also showed incredible bravery and sacrifice. I think journalists like Edward R. Murrow were very important as they helped people see what was really happening, making me to think about the importance of standing up for what’s right and work for peace.

As a global conflict, nearly all countries participated in the WWII, which was known as the deadliest conflict, causing almost half of the civilians killed. The happening of WWII can be connected to the aftermath of WWI, and also to the Treaty of Versailles after.

In my opinion, the result might not only have negative impact s, even though war is not a thing that deserves to be celebrated, but China did gain more respect in the world after WWII. But in the other hand, a lot of people are killed, lands are destroyed and burned, people lost their homeland, and even the most tortured. Nazis and the Japanese military using people for experiments, the concentration camps and propaganda machines are common during WWII.

My deepest memory towards WWII is the Schindler’s List, The Diary of Anne Frank, and the Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders in Nanjing. How people desperately trying to save their kids, sending them to far away places, how Jews need to hide, to endure all the humiliations and tortures. Most importantly, how the memorial halls is built with the corpses of the victims, their names and grave are being kept on the walls, and behind the halls.

WWII was a very hard time for all of the people, especially those who were being attacked. It’s a shame for the intruders and it’s a history we should never forget.

It was the one of the largest war in history, lots of lands were damaged.

I think the WW2 is absolutely barbaric and catastrophic. Around 70 million people died during the war due to the mass bombings and starvation, and among them, 6 million were Jews that were killed by the Nazi Germany. It resulted in shattered economy, deep psychological scars on the survivors, displaced populations, more vengeance between countries, and future conflicts like the Cold War. I believe anything like WW2 should not happen again, as it brings nothing but chaos and sadness.

Nowadays, even though the possibility of having large-scale war is little, WW2 is a lesson for all humanity. We should all remember the consequences of violence.

Mass destruction could damage much of the Earth, kill many humans, animals and other living things, and cause the collapse of modern civilization. Albert Einstein is often quoted as having said: "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones". This quote and WW2 reminds us the importance of peace. And we should be grateful for living in a safe place and our family is always there with us.

WW2 was the most destructive war of all time. My view on this war is its cautionary moral about the human capacity destruction and cruelty and the urging need to forge long lasting, stable peace and relationship between countries. This lesson is learnt from the unprecedented suffering and military advancements neglecting moral reckoning that caused irreversible destruction, putting the greater survival of mankind at risk. For instance, the fascist countries among the Axis powers, such as Germany and Japan, whose extreme nationalist political policies enabled them to install immoral and inhumane genocides to seek territorial expansion, or totalitarian leninism who similarly established concentration camps under Stalin's rule of the USSR.

These atrocities and attacks have led to a staggering toll of civilians deaths and lasting trauma- underscoring the consequences of unregulated militarism and authoritarian regimes. It quickly came to common realisation of the importance of peacekeeping, thus establishing the UN and spurred innovation of security and defence technologies.

However, these efforts remain fragile in the modern day in face of ongoing military conflicts across the world.

As far as I know,World War 2 started from September 1936 and ended in August 1945 when Japan surrendered and it can be described in many words.

First of all,it’s an unnecessary mess. The war divided the countries to two opposing camps:The axis powers(7 countries),mainly Germany,Italy and Japan versus The allied powers(28 countries) ,mainly Britain,France and The US.To be honest what makes the axis powers think they can win over 28 countries, they have 4 times the amount of countries they have?If it weren’t for the betrayal of Germany to many other countries for example if Hitler didn’t violate the Munich Agreement with Britain then would the invasion of Czechslovakia start?Or if all the countries, especially the US contributed more to the peace establishment—The League of Nations, then would there still be war or peace?

Second and the most obvious of all, destructive and tragic. As world war 2 is a large scale war including 6 continents, many infrastructures were destroyed, schools homes and hospitals leaving millions of citizens to be homeless, hindering economic recovery. There were approximately 1500 battles within these 6 years from minor causalities to major wars. Many innocent citizens(around 50-55 million) lost their lives during this war with sudden explosions from bombs 21-25 million brave soldiers sacrificed their family to join the war and end up dying as well, moreover the people endured hunger and diseases during this hard time,I’d be very stressful if I were to be included in this war.

Last but not least,it is ridiculous and unfair. The brainwashing in Germany is absurd, from controlling all public information to indoctrination of education,it’s outrageous that Hitler is so arrogant that he decides to change the reality to expectations, with totalitarianism, lots of things were suppressed such as religious freedom, academic freedom and judicial integrity. In addition,I have gained a deeper knowledge of nazism after reading Anne Frank.Hitler’s nonsense belief of superiority of the aryans and inferiority of the Jewish race is crazy, what did the Jewish did wrong to make him hate them so much that they should be banned and punished, why do they have to wear yellow stars, hide from the SS and get sent to concentration camps? Its simply unfair and unjust that they are criticised by their religions, after all they are just humans like us and they are innocent.I feel sympathic towards all the Jewish who had to suffer under Hitler’s abusive beliefs

In conclusion,I think that ww2 is a tragic war with many innocent lives lost.It could have been avoidable if all the countries are willing to cooperate and maintain peace, definitely one of the most impactful wars in history.

World War II was a huge war that changed the world. Millions died, including innocent people lost their lives in the war. It started because of leaders like Hitler who wanted power and spread hate. Countries formed two sides: Allies (like the U.S., UK, and USSR) and Axis (Germany, Japan, Italy). After the war, the world created the United Nations to prevent future wars. In conclusion, ww2 was a tragic where millions of lives were lost.

World War Two was mostly fought between the Allied countries and the Axis Powers. The Allied countries included China, US, Britain, and the Soviet Union. The Axis Powers had Germany and Italy (Facist countries) and Japan which focused on its conquest to usurp China.

World War Two deeply affected the entire world. Many were evacuated from their homes and had to deal with bombings, food shortages etc. It was an extremely destructive war that had brought the entire world into chaos.

Perhaps the most remembered incident of WW2 would be the Holocaust, where Hitler and the Nazi Party had committed mass homicide crimes against humanity (specifically Jews’, who were put in concentration camps which toxic gas chambers which killed over 2 million Jews. This shows how inhumane and cruel the war was and how damaging it was to the world, which still feels its aftershocks half a century later.
