This happens so when we notice them acting different another time, we can assume that they may not be feeling well or something must have happened. It is used to determine how your face is proportioned , if the proportions of someones face is symmetrical they are likely to be more attractive. Another factor is the size of the body . Most people will chose someone who is not skinny or bigger (National Geographic, 2015).
