         <description><![CDATA[<div>He was an American businessman and banker. Crocker was born on September 18, 1822, Troy, New York, U.S, and died on August 14, 1888 in Monterey California.  In 1852, he opened up a store in Sacramento California, becoming very wealthy by 1854. In 1861 he joined a new railway company, the Central Company, later becoming contractor in charge of construction and becoming more wealthy.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Clark was an American politician and entrepreneur who was involved with mining, banking, and railroads. He was born in on January 8, 1839, and died on March 2, 1925. He became a miner in 1862 and made his way to new gold fields and found his fortunes in the Montana gold rush. Later on he made fortune with copper mining, small shelters, electric power companies, newspapers, railroads and other businesses. He was acknowledged as the first major investment banker in the U.S. and creator of the first wire house firm. He earned his wealth through his occupation as a financier. He was born on September 16, 1838, and died on May 29, 1916.&nbsp; He was chief executive officer of The Great Northern Railway. This railway served most of the Upper Midwest, the norther Great Plains, and the Pacific Northwest. He was born poor and didn't have the best education but by using perseverance, intelligence, and luck he invested in the rapidly growing railroad industry and became wealthy.
