Hatshepsut and Ramses II were both great pharaohs. Hatshepsut was a women and she focused more on trade. Ramses II was man and he focused more on the army. 👸🏾👑👑. Pg 62 & 65.

Some improvements made by the Middle Kingdom rulers were more water ways and dams, arts, literature, and architecture. Water ways and dams and a canal from the Red Sea to the Nile let them use farming and grow their empire.

The similarities of the Middle Kingdom and the new kingdom are they both were ruled by Pharaohs and they both had temples they also both had hieroglyphics and they both added land to the old kingdom. The differences are the Middle Kingdom was Thebes and the New Kingdom was in Memphis.

FOUR: The reign of Hatshepsut was unusual because she was was a female pharaoh, when the power was originally passed from father to son.

FIVE: Akhenaton upset traditional order because he tried to change the Egyptians' religion from polytheistic to monotheistic - the main god being Aton.
