         <description><![CDATA[<div>    After the study of leadership, I have set up two goals that I want to achieve in the future’s career. They are flexible leading and conflict handling. I believe that when I achieved these goals, I will not only improve my leadership style, but also benefit for others. </div><div>    In this storyboard, I will talk about my leadership vision, followed by two leadership goals, and the reason why I choose them. In addition, the strategies that I will use to achieve the goals will be analyzed in detail. The benefits when achieving these goals will also be included. </div>]]></description>

After I graduate, my career goal is to start work in BC, in tourism industry, and then open my own business.          <description><![CDATA[<div>     As a leader, I should know the employees’ origin, education, experience, family environment, interest, expertise and so on. I would also understand the their thinking, enthusiasm, sincerity, sense of justice.</div><div>     Therefore, I can enable each employee to maximize their potential in their jobs, giving employees enough to test their ability to challenge the work, and in the face of such difficulties, to give the appropriate guidance. I will not only see people on the assessment table, but to observe in practice, combined with the strengths of each employee offering in the work.</div>]]></description>

When the employees show that they do not understand the job, I will adopt the coaching way to help them break down the task and find the feasible solution. When employees have self-doubt, in a high-capacity and low confidence period, I need to adopt a supportive leadership style. When employees have sufficient capacity and enough enthusiasm, I can take an authorized approach to employees with more freedom.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>     No one likes to conflict, but the conflicts in the enterprise are inevitable. Conflict is not always a bad thing. It can expose the problems in the organization, promote the open discussion of the problem, enhance the vitality of enterprises, and stimulate healthy competition (Thomas, 1992).Managers not only to resolve the vicious conflict, but also to stimulate the benign conflict, in order to promote the achievement of organizational goals. So there is a positive correlation between the manager's ability to deal with conflict and lead to be success. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>   The first strategy is to create an open atmosphere. If only a few people play a role in the decision-making process, value of corporate management team will no longer exist. Therefore, I must cultivate a atmosphere that not only improve working performance but also promote the members’ active participation, open communication, unity and cooperation . Open communication can enable senior management team members to participate in decision-making in good faith, to strengthen the team members consensus. While this open and frank communication may lead to some controversy, if team members can realize that conflict is guided by decision-making goals, in order to improve performance, they can actively deal with the conflict, thereby improving the team members of the decision-making satisfaction degree.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>     Reasonable power structure can make the power not too authoritarian and not too scattered. To build a reasonable power structure, the first thing is to change the organizational structure. I will build a flat, networked organizational structure, by reducing the management level, expanding the scope of management, and extensive introduction of the work team. Second, I will change the management model. With the implementation of knowledge management, enterprise information will achieve low-cost communication, so that the constraints of the past will be centralized. These practices help to reduce the conflict to a manageable range and to resolve it in a reasonable way.</div>]]></description>

I also set two goals of flexible leading and conflict handling. I recognized my lack of flexibility in leadership style and understand the importance of conflict management. Therefore, in the future study and work, I will focus on the development of these points. This journey helps me to summarize the leadership goals and to make action strategies. I will continuously follow the plan to achieve the goals.</div>]]></description>
