         <title>Improvements of the DSM </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br><br><br><br><br><br><br>- <strong>DSM-III </strong>&amp; <strong>DSM-III-R</strong> moved away from the unproven concepts theories and increased criteria specificity and reliability remained low, but improved from earlier editions. <br>-<strong>DSM-IV </strong>&amp;<strong>DSM IV-TR </strong>had the most improvement,; improved reliability and validity, was realistic, its prototypic approach allowed flexibility in the diagnosis. <br>-<strong>DSM-V</strong> is the most unchanged from the <strong>DSM-IV</strong>. The biggest change is the removal of the mulitaxial classification system presented in the <strong>DSM-III</strong>.         </div><div>-Nearly all DSM conditions are symptoms, except Alzheimer's and narcolepsy (Dow, 2013).</div>]]></description>

         <title>Is the DSM Positive or Negative? Why?</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- The DSM is positive because it gives professionals  a standard way to diagnosis mental disorders across the board. <br>- It can also be negative because if someone who gets a hold of the manual, could go around diagnosing people without the proper knowledge; also dangerous. <br>- its more like a dictionary, it needs more , the description doesn't line up with the biological testing.(Intagliata, 2013).</div>]]></description>
