In fact the large beaked finches beaks are getting longer in 1776 their beak length was 10.7 cm long and in 1778 their beaks were 11.6 cm. Example, the Tribulus plant has more seeds in it because the Finches with the small beaks cant access the seeds so it saved more seeds in it for the birds with the long beaks so they could survive longer. The data from lab 18 showed that from 1776 to 1778 the beak size increased.
