People will most likely obey a perceived authority figure even in evil acts because it takes away a sense of responsibility. The experiment was conducted by having the participants "teacher" pull a switch to release electric shock to the student when they answered a question incorrectly. 65% of the teachers pulled the switch to the deadliest level. </div>]]></description>
