· Purchase or submit best offer
· Must pay via PayPal

For Sellers
· Create an account
· List textbooks
· Wait for buyer
· Arrange to post or collect in person (SU?)

AUBE takes 15% commission of sale price

Strategy
· Initially focus on Aston University
· Later, rebrand to incorporate other universities (BCU, UCB, Newman)
· Subsequently expand to West Midlands and then Midlands universities
· Further down the line, target all universities and higher education institutions
· Sell ad space when traffic reaches sufficient levels

Risks
· Are students buying textbooks anymore?!
· Is AUBE a more attractive option than Amazon, John Smith’s, eBay?
· Is the website user-friendly at both the front-end and back-end?
