I chose this song because I was a part of a community college baseball team and country and baseball go together. This was a song that is engraved in my brain as a reminder of the times that I had as a part of the team.

His songs describe a contemporary country living as well as describing the ups and downs of love. “Check Yes or No” is one of his most famous songs that details the relationship of his wife and how it all started.
