What I learn today:

Reasons & Sources of Hikmah from Ibadah

Positive Values in Ibadah

Sincerity (Ikhlas) – Worship should be purely for the sake of Allah, without seeking recognition.

Patience (Sabr) – Perseverance in worship, especially during hardships, is key to spiritual growth.
Gratitude (Shukr) – Recognizing Allah’s blessings leads to heartfelt Ibadah.

Strategies to Perform Ibadah Effectively

. Developing a Strong Intention (Niyyah)
Begin every act of worship with a sincere intention.
Remind yourself that worship is a means to gain Allah’s pleasure.

. Seeking Knowledge
Learn the meanings of prayers and supplications to connect with them deeply.
Study the lives of the Prophets and righteous people for inspiration.

Enhancing Concentration (Khushu')
Pray in a quiet and distraction-free environment.
Reflect on the meanings of Quranic verses and supplications.
Perform Wudu properly to mentally prepare for Salah.

The Five Pillars of Islam are the fundamental acts of worship that form the foundation of a Muslim's faith and practice.

1. Shahada (Faith - Declaration of Belief)

It affirms monotheism (Tawheed) and the Prophethood of Muhammad (PBUH).
This declaration is the entry point into Islam.

2. Salah (Prayer - Daily Worship)

Muslims perform five daily prayers at specific times.
Prayer strengthens the connection with Allah and instills discipline and humility.

3. Zakat (Charity - Giving to the Needy)
A mandatory charity where Muslims donate 2.5% of their savings annually.
It purifies wealth, helps the poor, and promotes social justice.

4. Sawm (Fasting - Observing Ramadan)
Muslims fast during the month of Ramadan, refraining from food, drink, and sinful behavior from dawn to sunset.
Fasting builds self-discipline, patience, and gratitude.

5. Hajj (Pilgrimage - Journey to Makkah)
A pilgrimage to Makkah, required once in a lifetime for those who are financially and physically able.
It symbolizes unity, equality, and devotion to Allah.
