         <title>Day 2 listening </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today we have started with a warmup activity named Parasite.It was a nice activity because it aims how important is it to hear the person you are listening to.The noise can easily prevent you from hearing what you want to.<br>In the activity part we had two activities.One of them is class memory quiz.The other one is picture dictation.I like the picture dictation mostly and I will probably use it in my classses because its very enjoyable for me to draw a picture.I think my fellows will also try to do their best in this session because my picture was handled by the teacher and I was proud to see it stuck on the class wall.Also using authentic materials for listening will be more appropriate and useful for them.While listening if we differentiate our students they will have less problems and will feel confident enough to participate in listening lesson.<br>Today five groups have made nice listening activities from the coursebooks that we use in our schools and I learned different websites or songs or online libraries that I can use and share with my colleagues.For example elllo.org iş a useful online library that we can use as authentic material provider in our lessons.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Day 3 </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Speaking<br>On the third day our main skill is speaking.The most common problem that we encounter in our region is that my students want to speak but they are so afraid of making mistakes.This situation prevents them from speaking more in classes.<br><br>I found some of the solutions that can help us to handle the problem.I think using a lot of praise and encouragement will help some students who are afraid of taking part in speaking activities.Also some tips can be given to them before the activity to make them more active during the speaking.<br>Also I like the suggestion to appoint a&nbsp; spokesperson for each activity or class.So each of the students will take part and if encouragement is given by the teacher they will feel more confident to speak.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Reading </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The day started with reading session.We have revised our knowledge about reading.We formed a group and started to prepare a poster about appearance and personality topic for the 7 th graders.We use flashcards about personality and appearance in our lesson before starting reading the text because its important to revise or pre teach vocabulary.The teacher will show the flashcards and students will try to find out if its a personality or appearance. After this activity the teacher will form groups and read the text for gist.The students will say who is who and do the fill in the blanks activity.<br>While checking the answers the groups will give answers.For more abled students will give full answers,while less abled ones wiil give answers by holding their thumbs up and down.In this part we differentiate the groups and try to include all students and no one will left behind.<br>For the choose the correct one activity again we will use the formed groups and they will walk to the right if the answer is A,and walk to the left if the answer is B.It will make the students more active and th&nbsp; activity will have more fun because they will walk around the class and give answers<br>For assignment we will ask students to write a paragraph about themselves but if we have the chance to use internet the students will make their Voki characters by using Voki app.İt will be digitalised by using Voki app and also students will try to make their own Voki characters both at home or in the class.<br>By using all these techniques I think reading a text can be differentiated and digitalised and it will be more useful.<br>I am going to use it for my students in my classses for the reading parts.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Assesment </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The day started with discussion about the British Council videos that we have watched before.We talked about our notes and ask questions when why and how to assess our learners.<br>İn assesment I think the biggest and the most common problem is that we usually dont assess the process but try to assess the product, the exam result or the total success of the learners.But we should assess the learners progress and what they have learnt at the beginning, during and at the end of the term or semester.Also students should be encouraged&nbsp; and should be given enough feedback and see their progress in learning.<br>İn our coursebooks&nbsp; we have self assesment questions but I think they are insufficient to acquire if they have learnt the topic or not.Due to this I think both self assesment and peer assesment should be used.Today we have learnt five different ways to self assess Target feedback,multiple choice cards,traffic lights,success criteria,3,2,1 .<br>I think I will use the multiple choice cards way for assesment because its easy to use and it can be used at the beginning,during or as a closing activity.İts also suitable for both yes no questions and multiple choice questions.The students will give immediate answers by this way I can see if they have any problems in understanding the lesson or not.<br>For peer assesment we can make a ranking scale for each others work The students can give points to each other from one to five for example but at the end of the assesment the students will tell why they gave that point to their friends.They will talk about the things they like the most and the least on their friends work.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The day started with exploring different websites to help our students to support the learning of vocabulary.As a group we searched the edicaplay and liked it so much.We dont have internet problems so I will be using it in my classses..<br>Vocabulary notebooks are important but if we dont elicit from our students it will be such a repitition and it will be forgotten after a while.</div>]]></description>
