As an internationally educated nurse I have my own understanding on how the healthcare system in the country I came from functions. I will be receptive to new learnings , skills and other innovative ideas that the Canadian Healthcare system offers on its policies, regulations and skills development because learning is a continuous process. It is like from written progress notes of clients to an automated patients record and from walk in visits to the clinic to virtual consultations. The world is developing fast.

My goal is to become a nurse. All of these courage skills I will have to use in my day to day activities as a licensed practical nurse and even as a student
I will be more open to new idea's and accepting other beliefs. Patients and my co-workers will appreciate how I am open and available to communicate with them. We will devlope a trust between the patients we are supporting and between us as co workers.
I will use mastery to build the skills I need to be confident. Starting IV,s head to toe assesments and physiology and anatomy will be skills I have to practice and devlope. The more and more I practice my skills the more and more i will feel comfortable doing these skills. I will attend practicums and I will learn to work independent. Before I am able to practice own my own. I will have to demonstrate my skills. I will be learning in a group of with peers, when I am licensed practical nurse I will have to learn to use the courage skill of generosity. I will share my knowledge with others, and work with members of the community. I will accept everyone and treat everyone equally.
