Not add to the work load. A teacher puts much more work into the planning and design of instruction. However, this leads to him or her doing much less laborious work during the teaching day.  The teaching day becomes about the relationships and Suasion...

The students do the work...they enjoy the work and learn.  The teacher fosters that joy, grit, and learning.
