I really enjoyed the language the narrator used to describe the boys losing their sanity. I also really liked the ending because the boys got rescued. The whole novel shows how the boys start to become wild savages without society's rules, so in the ending when they start talking to an adult, they realize that they are going to be thrust back into society.

It was definitely one of my favorite books. Not only did it work around a intriguing what-if scenario, but it also showed the true nature of human beings, and what they are capable of. The book is full of great detail and strong word choice, only increasing the valuableness of the story. Also, there were a great number of twists and uncliched directions for the plot, making it an exciting read.
