Our new assignment is to create a website using Wix all about myself. To begin with, I made a mind map using Popplet. For this mind map, I focused on design, Audio, content and a few other points. My mind map is fairly detailed and I have a lot of branches coming off of it. This is the second time I have used Popplet and I found it very useful and I want use it again for other projects in the future. 
After Lunch, I finished off my mind map and then got started on my secondary research. for this i looked 
 at some examples of websites created through wix. This gave me some ideas on what I want to include in my own website design. When I get home, I am going to write up my reviews on the examples I found using the screenshots. I took for evidence and sources. I did some primary research today by exploring creating a website using ADI.

I found this really useful because I now know that you can check the layout on desktop view and a mobile view. In addition, I now know that you can have different backgrounds for each page or keep them all the same. Following on, Me, Gabbie and Chloe made an online survey on Monkey Survey on what people would want to see on a portfolio/ CV. We decided to do this as a group as I generally always get a lot more feedback than Gabbie and Chloe, by doing one together meant they would also get a sufficient amount responses. After this, I then made my own questionnaire asking about fonts and layouts. I will write up this research when I get home. I am also hoping to have a rough idea of how I want my logo to look. 

I hope to get a lot more work done tomorrow.

I also produced a popplet showing my logo design progression. This was a good idea as I could show how I developed my ideas and where I got my ideas from. I then did my project proposal. 

I am hoping to do my flat plan at home and a moodpboard ready for me to present to a focus group.

All of today I had problems finding a computer to work at so I decided to go around college campus and take some pictures in case I wanted to use any for my website gallery. I also carried out a pitch to a member of staff and presented my moodboard. This went well and I got good feedback and things for me to remember when I come to making my site. 
Tomorrow, I hope to start making my website, I don't think I will come across many issues other than just familiarising myself with the programme. I am really pleased with how it all went and I did not come across any problems during the making of my site. I then proceeded to ask them questions on my site such as, What could I improve?, what is the best part?
