The main visible components of a galaxy include a disk, a bulge (or halo), and a nucleus (often containing a supermassive black hole).&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br/></p><p>The Milky Way galaxy, our galactic home, is on a collision course with the Andromeda galaxy. This merger, while billions of years in the future, is a significant event in the galaxy's future. The nucleus is a bulging cluster of stars. It has a black hole at the center.between 100 and 400 billion stars in the milky way. The milky way is  1.5 trillion the size of our sun the milky way is also roughly the average size of a spiral Galaxy.Galaxies are vast systems of stars, gas, dust, and dark matter, held together by gravity.          <description><![CDATA[<p>The Galaxy is a marvelous thing. It has 100 to 400 billion planets and stars in one Galaxy. Imagine how much more planets and stars are there in the universe! Let's see what's in the Galaxy instead of stars and planets</p><p><br></p><p><mark>Dark Matter:</mark></p><p>Dark matter is an invisible substance. It make up about 27% of the Galaxy's mass. Its invisible because it does not interact with light or other electromagnetic radiation.</p><p><br></p><p><mark>Black Holes:</mark></p><p>Most large Galaxys like our Milky Way has massive black holes in the center of them. A black hole has great mass or gravity that nothing can get out of it. Not even light its self.</p><p><br></p><p><mark>The size and age:</mark></p><p>The Galaxy its self is around 13.61 billion years old and the newest Galaxys is around 500 million years old.
