1. You could share ideas for tasks, especially if they're having trouble coming up with ideas by themselves
2. The group can communicate without needing to sit next to each other or shout across the room

It can help with spelling as learners are more likely to check spelling before posting

I can use padlet to ask quick fire questions, to review prior learning in a creative way and to use as an additional resource.

Ask private questions instead of speaking aloud in a small class
Quick quiz, a little competition always makes things exciting

Can be anonymous so learners may not feel embarrassed about answers.
