2000 - Born as the eldest child

Being the oldest in my family has really been a big part of my identity. As the oldest I learned responsibility at a young age, took care of my younger siblings and helped out the most in my families business.

2004 - Moving to a new town

My family moved for the first time when I was four after the birth of my younger brother. Moving became a big part of my life and even at a young age I learned to fit in quickly.

2015 - Moving again, this time to a newer and bigger place

We moved again, this time to Gladstone, Oregon. This move impacted me a lot, it made me miss my friends and the small town way of life. But this move has opened up so many opportunities in my life and allowed me to meet some great people.

2019 - Started college then had to leave. Moving again.

Despite not wanting to move again, I made the decision to go with my family to New York. I hated the idea of leaving my friends behind, it felt like I was leaving my identity behind in many ways since I had grown to love Oregon so much, but I felt like it was important for me to be there for my family.

2020 - Starting our family business again, in Oregon!

New York actually hadn't lasted long. It was over before we knew it and we had moved back. We had re opened our Montessori Child Care for the first time and were working with families during Covid-19. It was the first job I ever enjoyed.

2021 - Starting College again

I was finally enrolled in a school that I liked and I got a full ride scholarship for my Associated Degree. I was working in a Child Care with my mom and loved what I did. It was so rewarding and with school I felt so fulfilled.

2022 - Got Married!

My husband and I got married in Las Vegas. We both wanted a small wedding where we could relax and have the time of our lives. He also started working with me in the Child Care.

2024/2025 - Expecting my first child!

Having such a loving and caring community that I have built in the Child Care community both with clients and other providers has made me very excited for motherhood. I also have a great support system from my family and husband. Still I want to balance my hobbies and school work with being a mom.
