When he was 16, Ali won the amateur golden gloves championship in his hometown of Kentucky. When he was 18, Ali made the 1960 Olympic games, winning gold. Muhammad won many matches with only a few losses. He was one of the greatest of his time. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Before the Civil War, when slavery was stilled practiced in the south, some slaves were given names by their owners. later on in his life, Cassius Clay thought his name was a 'slave' name. he went by Cassius X, later changing it to Muhammad Ali. Also, when Muhammad refused to joining the military, the government stripped him from his title, banning him from boxing. He was able to eventually earn it back, after about a year of struggles. But then, in the fight of the century, he lost against Joe Frazier, dropping his title. In 1984, he was diagnosed with Parkinson disease. </div>]]></description>

Muhammad also received a doctorate from Princeton. Later on, he helped negotiate a release of american hostages in Iraq. Other than these amazing acts of good, Muhammad was one of the greatest boxers of all time.</div>]]></description>
