My summer 2024

This summer vacation I didn’t do much but spent time with my family. My biggest highlight would be going to Vegas to visit mom and siblings. I live out here with my 2 younger brothers. Also I have 2 more younger sibling in Las Vegas with my mom. It was fun I ate inn and out as soon as I got there because how much I missed eating it since it isn’t available in Minnesota. I also ran into an old friend there from California we walked all around the strip the whole night with her before she took her flight to North Dakota. I had enjoyed spending time with my brothers. Another thing I missed living there was that there was the mall and Asian market across the street of where my mom lives. Also the Mexican markets because they are small out here and don’t offer much so coming over to Las Vegas I was glad to see big Mexican markets again. I made tacos de lengua and carne picada And I also made flan everyone in the house liked it

Here is my cat Milo he is a chunky he also has a different meow that sounds like muehhh for being his size he is very picky and only eats cat food ice cream and glazed donuts I also have a kitten named Luna she is very playful and sleeps a lot she likes to play with Milo even though he doesn’t like her that much I even catch them playing together sometimes

I would say my biggest one is playing the flute I have been playing for around 2 years now I have gotten really good at it I plan on going to college to get a degree in flute performance. I played in the pit orchestra last year not knowing how hard the music was but it helped me a learn a lot of new things. Being the only flute there had me needing to practice a lot because the music would use a lot of new notes and go really fast.

I have moved around a lot in my life this is the 4th highschool I’ve been to. I was born in Victorville California I have lived in that area for 7 years then moved to Las Vegas for a year or two. Later I moved back to California for 2 years. One day my mom asked if we wanted to go to vegas again to visit. We did and then things got complicated and me and my 3 other brothers agreed that we should stay we have lived there for 3 years then I moved back to California for 1 year and a half. Once again I moved back to vegas. One day I wanted to live with my dad because my mom was struggling and it would be easier if me I had left because she was supporting us alone. he has lived out here in Minnesota for work and I never took a plane before so I had a little anxiety and there was so many delays and I arrived 2-3 hour’s later. I have been out here in Minnesota for a year now. I’m still adjusting to the freezing cold and humidity being used to a dry desert

This is a concert where my favorite singer Selena Quintanilla performed. I first heard about Selena when my mom showed me the movie about her. She has songs in Spanish and some in English.

My current life

My life has been really good lately no more surprises or major events it’s calmed down and it has been easier with no struggles I have gotten my own flute a kitten and have a really nice step mom and don’t have to worry about moving every 2-5 months

About myself and my grandma

I would describe myself as quiet when you first meet me. I am a little introverted but I usually get more talkative when I get to know someone. I also like cooking I usually make desserts or Mexican food a lot because I grew up eating it because my mom and dad are Hispanic I love making my grandma’s recipes she was a really good cook everyone in my mom’s family and my dad loved her cooking she left a lot of recipes her best dishes were her rice, enchiladas, carne picada and tamales de puerco. There is a picture of my grandma and grandpa from my moms side
