         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>2</strong>. A mixture of dyes that change their color gradually over a range of pH and is used in Testing acids and alkalis.<br><strong>3</strong>. The chemicals made of common salt are Calcium carbonate and Calcium Silicate.<br><strong>4</strong>. If baking soda is mixed with the other ingredients that are  used to bake a cake, it causes the mixture to expand. Therefore making it light and fluffy.<br><strong>5.</strong> The pH value after which the tooth starts decaying is 5.5.<br><strong>6</strong>. Baking Soda is used to:-<br>i) To freshen our mouth.<br>ii) To polish our teeth.<br>iii) To relieve itching.<br><strong>9</strong>. Properties of Bleaching powder:<br>i) Soluble in water (alkali).<br>ii) Yellowish-white in color.<br>iii) Strong smell of chlorine.<br>Uses of Bleaching powder:<br>i) Water treatment.<br>ii) Maintain white clothes.<br>iii) To clear away the molds. <br><strong>11.</strong> When quick lime is added to water, they react to form slaked lime. And release heat.<br><strong>12</strong>. Properties of acids:<br>i) Acids are sour.<br>ii) Acids turn blue litmus red.<br>iii) Acids contain H+ ions.<br>iv) Acids pH value is from 0-7.<br>v) They are liquids.<br>vi) Turn universal indicator from green to red<br><br> </div>]]></description>
