Send social workers the trainings. Give them responsibility for training the BHA’s and pay a small stipend. Gen Ed behavior team doesn’t have the day to day awareness of the specific skills needed at specific schools.

Send the trainings to the SW and BHA, possibly to admin too so they are aware that SW/BHA will need this time for training.

Our BHA didn't know about it and was unable to attend some of the trainings as she was hired later. I often tried to get together with her and it was too difficult as she or I was called out.

I like all the ideas already put forth here. I just wanted to say I did like having the site based trainings. It did allow us to talk about specific situations and how to handle them.

We are constantly getting interrupted during our site based trainings. Making the principals aware from others besides the SW that these trainings are happening and supporting that they are not being pulled away.

We did all of our trainings for our school and they were not recorded

With our social worker only being at our school 2 days a week, it was hard to find time to do the training because she was so busy seeing kids. I felt like her time should be spent with the kiddos.
