Enoggera Creek has a significant amount of litter in the creek bed, like plastic sheets and bottles, car tyers, construction materials etc.

This litter is affecting the animals around the creek and will eventually end up in the ocean where it will cause even more damage to the environment. For the community the litter reduces the quality of life and the enjoyment of the creek.

I’m organising a community project to pick up the litter in Enoggera creek and invite you to come and get involved. 

I’m calling on all cyclist, runners, walkers, dog walkers, families, residents, nature lovers to come and get involved. Meet your community and help together to make our suburb and the creek as beautiful as is can be.

It will be a fun and exciting day, walking the creek bed together and giving back to nature what nature gives to us.

I have the support for Brisbane City Council who will provide us with bins and pick up tools and will help with the run to the tip.
