I had already known that women pay rates were going to be lower then the men’s pay rate but I didn’t know specifically. I’m gonna try to link a picture of the graph too. Some reasons that the wage gap is happening is differences in industries, differences in years of experience, difference in hours worked, and discrimination. When you look at other examples of comparisons of pay, (ex:sports wages) you can see a large difference even though they do similar things.
