I asked to borrow a book and had my parents help if I had any questions. I eventually started getting better grades and was understanding the material. I was getting better grades on my tests and eventually ended the year with an A.

How does this example relate to my theme?

I worked super hard for many months to get good grades. I was determined to get better, so I asked my coach what she thought I should do and get her opinion on how to do it. I got private lessons and did more exercises like she said and I was starting it improve. It took a few months but once I got the hang of it I was one of the best passers on the team. I was able to get more playing time and had more fun during tournaments.

How does this example relate to my theme?

I was not doing as well as I had hoped and was feeling uninspired. I asked for help from my parents and my coach. By the end of the season I was doing very well and was very proud of myself.

My parents were talking to me about what school I was going to. Non of my friends were going to the school I was, so I was having a hard time. My new school is a small charter school were u wear uniforms. I was not looking forward to going and was super nervous. I went to my first day of school and made friends in the first hour of school.  By the end of the year I was having so much fun.

How does this example relate to my theme?

It relates because I wanted to just move schools because I didn't know anyone but my parents said give it a year.
