Summary: Joseph Kony started the Lord's Resistance Army so that he could basically terrorize the Ugandan government.  What they do is attack villages then take all their young boys to be in their army and young girls to be slaves.  After being attacked a few times Kony realized that he could no longer safely operate in Uganda so he moved his army to other surrounding countries.  He raids villages in those countries now killing thousands of people each time.
