Pantry items are ordered on time,

We are considering purchasing the following items for next year,

1. We try to buy healthy snacks and avoid the sweet kinds of stuff (Swiss rolls, Oreo Biscuits…)

2. Weekly twice or monthly twice provide our staff budget-friendly fruits.

This morning (16^th Oct) I received feedback from some teachers. Teachers need some breakfast for marking days and when the canteen closes. I told them we stop to buy noodles because of unhealthy food.

So, I would like to suggest to our SWB com,

If possible,

1. We arranged budget-friendly breakfasts for those days (Marking and canteen closure dates) because some N level O level invigilators are affected.

2. Health nuts or fruits put up on the pantry table.

Truly, this is a good activity. But some staff do not understand the activity and are not willing to participate in the activity. However, the SWB members can encourage the staff to join the activity. most enjoyed. So, we could continue this prgm.

We arrange useful movie screens for our staff with good meals. ( like, how to care for our mental well-being ourselves, workplace, family, and friends, ) Suguna

Mel - We can consider having Skill-sharing Sessions where staff members to host informal workshops where they can share personal skills, hobbies, or even teaching strategies with colleagues.

Suguna - Yes, I agree with Mel Suggestion, Truly it will work and meaningful learning for our staff.

We can introduce the new teachers at the Lo Hei event as it will be CNY at the end of January next year, and we will get to know the new teachers better through the face-to-face activities at the event.

Suggest to organize in-school activities and invite professionals to teach us about eating healthy, yoga, exercise, etc. so that teachers can choose the activities that interest them.

The activities are meaningful, but perhaps can have more variety throughout the school year. Maybe can have DTGT once in the school year and do other activities.

To delink LJ/VIA before staff appreciate lunch, we can have some activities for the staff in school and when the time is up, we can charter bus to send all to the lunch venue.

We have to make it clear SWB members are not 'servants to the staff', to put it bluntly. When comes to staff matters, some expect SWB to provide/cater for their needs in every way.
