The Townshend Acts, Stamp Act, Tea Act, countless more terrible laws have you imposed upon us. This has suppressed us ever since you started being a meanie. The only reason we weren't able to stop your laws from being passed was simply because of our lack of power in your British Parliament. Furthermore, the restriction you put on our expansion the previous year was especially horrible! My independence from you is a God Given right. If you refuse what I have to say, then what's the point of being together. this relationship is too toxic. You kept expecting me to help you while all you did was just control me and stifle my voice. You keep doing things that affect me without even getting the consent of our people. I now realize that I shouldn't have to pay taxes for you just to get my own autonomy or these basic rights, which you still haven't given to me. 
It is clear that all men are truly equal and have god given rights to independence and that the government's actions should be approved by its people, yet you have refused to do any of this. That is why I have written this Declaration of Independence. We deserve our autonomy and I am willing to go to war to get it. It will all be worth it to have a life of freedom and true equality. I won't stifle our people like you did. I will try to make sure that all free men enjoyed the same status before the law (excluding women and black slaves). I will lessen social differences and provide more economic opportunity. I will make sure that regions and local areas will have their some autonomy. Our relationship may have been okay in the beginning, but now things have turned sour.
