The Incas are known for their strong stone walls, each stone is cut precisely to fit in with the others without and adhesive. If you attempt to lodge a blade in between the rocks, it is merely impossible because the stones are so snug within each other. This method of building walls are often displayed in the Spanish colonial Museum. Their stairs were also very durable, it was built to the top of Machu Picchu and are still standing today. This information is stated in the textbook on pg. 430.

The Incas claimed lots of territory and converted many to their religion. The Incas gave the people the option to still worship their own god, which I think is a bonus. When the Spaniards took control of the Incas, they filled a room with gold and silver to win their freedom and some Incas fought back too. They also built one of the most powerful empires in all of Mesoamerica. I found these facts on pg. 426 and pg. 429.

One of the Incas greatest achievements was mastering the arts of islands or floating gardens, also known as Chinampas. These gardens were extremely fertile and did not harm the environment. This was an amazing feat of gardening. Not only did it take only 15 days, it also took lots of work to devise this strategy. This information was found on a website called upworthy.com.
