The museum is situated in the area "Chertezhyk" in Krasna mountain valley. "Old Village" in Kolochava today has about two dozen residential and commercial buildings with household objects and works of art of XIX-XX centuries of the villagers. The village of Hutsul culture is united, Boyko, Lemko, Hungarians, Romanians, Germans, Jews, Czechs and Slovaks. Visitors can see the house forges of 1930-1940, where are the tools from all over Ukraine and the building of the Hungarian gendarmerie.
