         <title>Flour Riots</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The flour riot was in New York City  during February of 1837, what caused it was a rumor&nbsp; spread that two companies Eli Hart &amp; Co.&nbsp; and S. H. Herrick &amp; Co. were hoarding flour. When the town and people heard about this they marched Eli Hart's shop and destroyed 500 barrels of flour and 1,000 bushels of wheat.</div>]]></description>
