Since they had the conversation with students and have created space for questions and answers. Students pointed out, they sometimes struggle with the key terms used. Lecturers are now addressing this in the class now and students reacted positively to the change.

This Degree is in place to provide a top up for students currently studying on an HND programme. We will be looking to gather feedback from the current HND students to see what they all think about the course structure and content. One of the ways we will do this by is asking one student representative to sit in on the panel discussion at our upcoming Approval event.

The team also cover off DBS induction and additionally organised a series of drop-in sessions on campus where students could attend lab sessions, so they were supported with completing their DBS. The placement officers are also available on campus and drop into classes during the week for placement and DBS related queries. Students are sent an email with the link of how to complete their DBS and a set of guidelines on how to complete the process. They also receive a reminder from the team in the form of phone calls and emails to remind them to complete the check. The DBS platform also sends students reminder emails.
