So Absolute location is like the pin point location so you know how a satellite brings like calls down from outer space to the pin point location its sort of like that. Relative location is like oh that place is down to the left because if you gave the pinpoint location of a place like a park then the people your telling would be like what? So you have relative location instead which is a good thing.

People say that there was this huge giant continent called PANGAEA and that one day the continent started to split into what you see today Australia being the farthest away. Also when Europeans settled there and they brought new animals to the environment which is called invasive species so then since they animals were competing for food with the native species there

A land far from Britain was what they called it also know as "Down Under". Australia was used for keeping prisoners and making a settlement for the people once they came out. The first people ever to live there arrived 40,000 Years ago! Their way of life and culture may be the oldest in the world. Soon gold was discovered and treasure hunters flocked there to get the gold. In 1851 often the Aborigines were pushed off of their land and since the new Europeans came to the land also came disease there were at least 750,000 now today there are at leas 400,00 left.

After Australia gained their independence from great Britten Australians adopted a new policy called "a white Australia". Any person who wanted to immigrate to Australia had to pass a test an official 50 word statement which mainly limited to whites. Their policy stopped in the 1970s. They opened their doors to anyone around the world. BY 2008 more than 21 million people lived there about every four children one was from a different country. A century ago more than half of Australia's exports went to Britain. Today fewer go to Europe. Shipping goods closer to home is better than shipping goods farther away so they made new trade partners with nearby countries.

Australia has such seasons then us in USA that when we Americans are bundling up for winter in Australia they are just getting started for summer. In fact since Australia has such a big season change they can supply northern countries with fruits and vegetables that are fresh so stores can sell fresh produce all year.

Australia has a very unique variety of animals. There are among about thirteen million living species living there. About one million of the animals found there are found nowhere else in the world since Australia was so far down under plants and animals lived there without having to compete with the other animals for food. Until the Europeans brought rabbits which ate most of the grass as they multiplied other species of animals couldn't survive since the rabbits were eating all the grass and some species simply disappeared.

In Australia there is an ozone. A ozone is when there is a hole in the atmosphere . So what a ozone does is let more light down from space onto Australia which with all that light can cause cancer and serious degrees of sunburns. In order to stop this people living there are able to go to a nearby government official's office and simply ask for sunscreen and they get it for free! In recent years scientist are started to recognize that the ozone was shrinking and by the year 2050 the ozone should be completely gone.
