Prince Harry and Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle have been on tour in Australia for the past few months for the Invictus games. The Invictus games are a close cause to Prince Harry, who is one of the founders of the event. These games are for former veterans who were hurt in battle, many have lost limbs or suffered brain damage and are unable to compete in your ordinary Olympics.

Prince Harry himself is a veteran and wanted to help make the lives of those like him, to still have meaning and be able to compete in sports that they enjoy.

5.A Tweet I came across was showcasing Prince Harry and Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle at an event in Australia. In the tweet is also a photo of them at Bondi Beach, this tweet is showing the love and affection the people of Australia have for the royal couple. They are smiling and very warm and approachable. Twitter would be a good social media platform to use in this instance because the person tweeting comes across as a royal fan and likes to contribute. Twitter being used for information on Harry and Meghan in Bondi Beach can be seen with a simple photo and explanation in a short amount of words.
https://twitter.com/RoyalDickie/status/1053181234380185601

1.I found a Youtube video on the royal tour of Australia, the video symbolizes an importance to me because it must deal with mental health. Prince Harry is seen in the video going over his own personal experience with battling his own mental health and how he had a hard time coming to grips with seeking out help. It is an important issue; many veterans suffer post traumatic stress and other ailments when coming back from war and having to live their lives. Mental health is an issue close to my heart as I suffer as well, seeing someone in the status of Prince have those same issues, it really made him more human and relatable. Youtube was a good platform to use as their were a lot more videos on the event. Commenters also voiced their opinion on the affection towards the married couple but their are no comments on the issue at hand, what the speech was about.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-o0UaThJXo

2.Another Tweet I came across was about mental health. The tweet lists of a fundraising group called OneWave. This fundraiser is a surfing community. The tweet is from an ordinary person and includes a photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. It also lists an itinerary the couple had for the rest of the day.

This tweet was useful because in very little words, you had information about what they were doing and the types of tasks also. It mentions how Harry will climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge, to raise the flag for the Invictus games. The tweet is concise and quick way to get information about the couple.

https://twitter.com/scobie/status/1053013331936600064

4.A blog I came across called “Mad About Meghan” is a blog dedicated to the Duchess of Sussex from a fans point of view. There is a post about her trip to Australia and in the post, it talks about talks about the closing ceremonies of the Invictus games.

It has a photo of Meghan Markle giving a speech. There is a short paragraph of information about the event. The blog itself is not the best social media tool to use because it is focused more on the fashion and appearance of Meghan more than the issues of what their tour was about. It does have a bit of both for entertainment value.
https://madaboutmeghan.blogspot.com/2018/10/watch-invictus-games-closing-ceremony.html

3.A Facebook fan page has a photo and description of what was taking place. In the photo is Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at the opening ceremony for Anzac Memorial which is a memorial dedicated to fallen soldiers who served in battle and lost their lives.

This is post consisting of a photo and description making it easy to know what is happening, you are aware of the ceremony, you can see beautiful pictures of the couple and it captures their devotion to the event in place.

You must scroll the fan page to find this post, as there is a lot of content used and it takes some searching for information. Not as readily available unless you know what you are looking for.

It links you another fan page called "The Royal Family" which shows were this fan page is getting some of it's information.
https://www.facebook.com/TheBritishMonarchy/photos/pcb.2085843991437420/2085842034770949/?type=3&theater

6.Reddit has a post about the royal couple on tour in Australia. The post is about the announcement of the couple shared with the world on news they are expecting their first child. The post has only a title and not much more can be viewed.

There are no comments made by anyone on this story, there are no pictures.

7.Instagram was used as another social media platform. A photo that I selected is of Prince Harry giving his speech about mental health and his wife Meghan holding an umbrella for him. When you click on the photo it brings you to more of a description.

Instagram brings comments together and the community can discuss the photo and what they like or don’t like about it. It does not list what the speech is about but simply how the couple are showing their affection for each other.

It lacks more information as the focus is on the photo more than anything else and is not a good platform to showcase the event.
https://www.instagram.com/p/BpBsquPC2gx/
