The main characters are John lonridge,the cat,the two dogs. Longridge took the dogs to the park for a little bit. But his sister still stayed home  and longridge left a note on the vase on the counter. And the cat knocked it down and broke it and ripped the note. When his sister woke up she saw the shadered glass and the ripped up paper. she put the note together and saw what the note said she thought to herself why would longridge take the the dogs to the park that is unusual .The main conflict is if you go some where and no one knows.
