She is prescribed with medication that makes her weight fluctuate every time she takes it. Mira has a small group of friends and her best friend Sebby, he doesn't attend St.Francis academy. Everyone at St. F knows Mira is sick, some of the "popular" girls joke around about it at lunch making Mira insecure to eat because she has a different appearance and doesn't fit in because she weighs more than the other thin pretty girls.
Sebby:
Sebby is a rebellious boy who gives off the "bad boy" vibes. He doesn't go to school anywhere but if he could he would definitely attend St. F with Mira, but its private and very expensive. Sebby skips school and pretends to go, so his foster parents don't nag him about skipping. Sebby knows hes gay and tends to hook up with just about anyone who wants to. Mira introduces Sebby to her new friend Jeremy. Sebby starts to have real feelings for Jeremy.
Jeremy: Jeremy is a young boy who goes to St. Francis with Mira. He is a shy boy who was bullied really badly his last year at St. F, kids found out the Jeremy had two dads and teased him about it. This bullying wasn't coming to an end, Jeremy got pretty good at not letting the inappropriate sexual jokes get to him. One day Jeremy got to school early and saw "Jeremy likes to sux dicks" written on his locker. That's when Jeremy decides he's had enough. Later on Jeremy starts to realize he really is gay, he starts falling for Miras best friends Sebby and they end up spending a lot of time together.

U.S is one of the only countries that allows photoshopped images of models into magazines without some type of warning label.
