The satellites today also are much more efficient and less is able to be hidden. This can also be compared to the “race” to Mars. It would the first to land on a foreign object yet again, but not many are competing for that and it is mainly fought between American companies. Lastly, the propaganda used in the space race can be compared to propaganda used today, its main goal being to demonize the other. But propaganda today is much more advanced without us being able to tell it is propaganda at times.
