i have only got to page 25 and I think this book is pretty good it has a lot of details and over all is interesting

I have really enjoyed what I have read so far. I'm on page 23 and I really think my book is very interesting. So far I have read about Pulga and Pequena a lot has happened to them it's really sad to think about. My favorite thing I have read so far is the chapter about Pequena and her baby. For me it was hard and sad to read about it. It was a very emotional chapter with crazy different feelings. I also really liked the emotions Pulga and Chico had for Pequena. I'm really excited to read what is next. I just have a feeling it's going to be something crazy that happens.

I strongly agree because pulga does not like her child because she is afraid of her mother asking a question about the baby. This will be a hostile enviroment because her mother doesn't like her even while she a child.

The question i chose is "where someone grew up determines their identity" I agree with this because where you grew up can most likely determine how you are as a person. Kind of like in the book "we are not from here" Pulga and the others grew up in a small town that is surrounded by violence. Pulga and Chico grew up with no siblings or friends. Where and how they grew up shows how they act and why they act like that.

I went from page 23 to 119, a lot has happened. I have really enjoyed it. I think it's a really interesting book, filled with many emotions. I'm on part two of the book, they have just left to go to the states. The most recent thing I have read is about pequena and how she got pregnant. It was sad to read about and I feel really bad for her and the situation. Before that a lot happened, like someone dying. A lot also happened between Pulga and Chico. Crazy things did happen so I can't wait to read what happens next in the book.
