The door is slightly ajar.)

Little Red Riding Hood: (Knocking) Grandma? It's me, Little Red Riding Hood.

(A muffled voice comes from inside. It's the Wolf, trying to sound like Grandma.)

Wolf: (In a weak, raspy voice) Oh, my dear! Come in, come in. The door's unlocked.

(Little Red Riding Hood pushes the door open and steps inside cautiously. She notices something seems off. The room is dark, and the figure in the bed looks strange.)

Little Red Riding Hood: Grandma, is that you? You sound different.

Wolf: (Still pretending to be Grandma) Yes, dear. I'm just a little under the weather. Come closer, so I can see you better.

(Little Red Riding Hood approaches the bed. She notices the Wolf's big eyes, big ears, and big teeth.)

Little Red Riding Hood: Grandma, what big eyes you have!

Wolf: The better to see you with, my dear.

Little Red Riding Hood: Grandma, what big ears you have!

Wolf: The better to hear you with, my dear.

Little Red Riding Hood: Grandma, what big teeth you have!

Wolf: (Leaping out of bed, his voice now menacing) The better to eat you with!

(The Wolf lunges at Little Red Riding Hood. She screams and quickly grabs a nearby heavy candlestick. She swings it at the Wolf, hitting him on the head. He stumbles back, surprised.)

Little Red Riding Hood: You're not my Grandma! You're the Wolf!

(The Wolf, dazed, tries to recover. Little Red Riding Hood, realizing she has the upper hand, pushes him back out the door and slams it shut.)

Little Red Riding Hood: (Shouting through the door) Stay away from my Grandma!

(Little Red Riding Hood quickly finds a strong piece of rope and ties the door securely. She then rushes to the window and calls out to her Grandma, who is tied up inside.)

Little Red Riding Hood: Grandma! It's me, Little Red Riding Hood! Are you alright?

(Grandma, relieved, replies from inside.)

Grandma: Oh, my dear! I'm so glad you're here. That awful Wolf tricked me!

(Little Red Riding Hood quickly unties the rope from the door and lets her Grandma out. They hug tightly, relieved to be safe.)

Little Red Riding Hood: Don't worry, Grandma. The Wolf won't bother us anymore.

(The scene ends with Little Red Riding Hood and her Grandma embracing, safe and sound.)
