How does this relate to my theme?

It relates to my theme because even though a sport is a hobby,it's also a place where people care about you.Somewhere where there is always someone there to lead you into a better place.]]> 2023-01-13 17:53:57 UTC https://padlet.com/madisonsennett698/by7nms8cbfbejvtm/wish/2443889840 madisonsennett698 https://padlet.com/madisonsennett698/by7nms8cbfbejvtm/wish/2443904573 When I joined sports ,I didn't know anything about leadership.I always thought sports was something to just pass the time.My older sister was also in sports,she knew everything about leadership.I saw the way people looked up to her,including me.I wanted people to look up to me in that way.When I was 9,I joined my first club volleyball team.My coach was always talking about leadership,and how important it was.She told us that not only can leadership help in sports,but it can help in life.I wanted to be successful,and i wanted people to like me,ask me questions,look up to me.Now that I have been in sports,I feel so confident in everything I do.I feel like younger people now do look up to me.All of that came from the leadership provided from sports.


How does this relate to my theme?


This relates to my theme because it shows sports aren't just about being in shape,but it can teach you an important life lesson. Finding something that can teach you leadership is like finding a needle in a haystack.But sports makes it easy.]]> 2023-01-13 18:08:44 UTC https://padlet.com/madisonsennett698/by7nms8cbfbejvtm/wish/2443904573 madisonsennett698 https://padlet.com/madisonsennett698/by7nms8cbfbejvtm/wish/2447228424 My family has had a history of good sports players.Though,my family has also had a history of not the greatest health.When I was in first grade my dad had a heart attack.When I saw what my dad went through,I never wanted something like that to happen to me.I decided I needed to become more intense in my sports.Sports offers the opportunity to become healthy and feel good in my own body.My dad told me that he wanted me to be healthy but that I would have to work hard in order to do so.It didn't take a genius to find out that I HAD to do sports.I will admit the first few weeks were hard,but then I starting feeling better about myself,and that gave me the motivation to keep going.If I didn't have sports,I don't know where I would be now.
