A village of mainly chinese christians until the late 1980s,and it still remain as popular with the number or schools,community club and housing estates drastically increasing over the years.

Many areas in Jurong West still remains popular and people still gather at those places. Hawker centres and coffee shops brought people from all walks of life together. Schools let kids have the opportunities to meet and study together.Jurong West was and still is a place where people feel a great sense of belonging to be.
