She was our high school’s college advisor and the person that was always in our ear to turn in that scholarship & do things out of our comfort zone. Her caring personality shaped me not only as a better student but a better person. I believe being able to write an essay that reflects on your personal life can be very challenging but with the help of my previous english teachers i was able to go back and ask them for help. I am an English and Education major and I want to be able to teach students in a way where they can understand the material instead of just doing what I say. I am thankful for the teachers, administrators, counselors, and paraprofessionals that did their best to uplift me when I hit bumps on the road. I remember talking to several teachers about personal problems with out judgement and because of this it made me feel safe coming back and allowing them in my life as a support system.
