I chose this picture because it represents how much fun I had learning English these past 4 years. English helped me to make friends and it allowed me to travel around the world, discover other cultures and practice my English with native speakers while having a lot of FUN.

Once I was in New Zeland travelling around . It hasn´t been the only English country I visited. But, it is one of the countries that I would like to come back.

HAWAII

The most fascinating place I have ever seen. All kind of contrast of culture, nature and food are in Hawaii. I learned how difficult is to understand English people in this country and that experience helped me to be conscious I needed to improve my English more.

Aupair in Bath

When I was 22 years old, in 2015, I went to Bath and I worked as an aupair for 2 months. It was a really nice experience in my life. As you can see in the picture, I could watch the Bristol Balloon Festival.

West Coast of USA

This is my last English Tryp. Last Christmas Holidays I went to the West Coast of USA wit my big family. This picture is from Sausalito and you can see Sant Francisco at de bottom. I choose this picture because it was a wonderful tryp and I enjoyed practising my English. We went front Sant Francisco- Las Vegas- Los Angeles and we visited some National Parks like Yosemite, Death Valley and The Grand Canyon. But the most important thing was that we traveled in caravain and we had de opportunity to enjoy ourself.

I choose this picture because it remembers me a great moment. It was my first travel with friends and I have nice memories of it. We went to visit a friend who is living in Dublin. It was interesting to observe how she's so adapted to the city and we discovered a lot of new places.

I want to share here one of my favourite activities to do in English. It's following the Premier League in UK press. I love following Spanish league but I have to recognise that nowadays Premier League is the best football competition by far.

Job and leisure

Nowadays, I am studying English because I need it if I want to improve in my job. On the other hand, I usually remember the best trip of my life. It was three years ago to Jerusalem. We enjoyed a lot but in addition I could bargain with muslim sellers in Jerusalem Old City Market, I was freaking out for hours! I wish I could speak English fluently and accurately next time that I travel to any country.

Learning jazz in London

Last year, I went to London to spend one week of the summer vacation there to do a jazz piano course, at the Premises Studios. It was my first experience alone in another country speaking English, and it was very useful and quite inspiring. Actually, it's one of the reasons why I wanted to come to the EOI and improve this language. By the way, I took this picture in Broadway Market, which is a really nice place where I had dinner with Camille, a French classmate of the course.

FAMINE FIGURES OR SCULPTURES

Visiting Dublin was a wonderful expercience. There was no corner of the city that ceased to amaze me, I found everything fascinating. However when we come across these awe-inspiring sculptures we gasp. It really transports you to the time being able to feel the pain, the despair and even its regrets.

MUSICALS

At first, I just watched some series and films in English, but I wasn’t too excited about that, but when I started to listen to some songs of a musical called “Hamilton” I just got really interested. The thing about musicals is that almost all of them are just in English, so I didn’t have more option but listening them on that language, also the songs sounded better in their original language. And that’s how I started to watch/listen to musicals, learning always new words.

my relationship with English is a wannabe. I have studied English for many years and my level improves very slowly. Other languages that I began to study much later, I have a higher level. how can it be? I even considered giving up studying English before hating it forever.
