Due to the expansion of European factories and textiles they experienced difficulty in trying to compete. By the nineteenth century they lost control of export and domestic textiles to Great Britain.</div>]]></description>

Britain was right above many rich coal deposits giving an advantage and head start with industrialization. Britain had abundant rivers, strong fleets, laws that protected private property and had a growing population with increased urbanization. With the ability to sell raw goods and control over territories like india, Britain had the labor force and resources to create more technology and manufacture. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Between 1757 and 1858 Indian Iron mines were under control by the British and had been taxed to the point of closure for the mines. The inability to use the mines gave the British all access to the resources. THe biggest reason British took control was fear of another arms uprising.</div>]]></description>
